About the event
The Junior League of Ogden invites you to celebrate the opening of the 2024 garden season at Oasis Community Garden on Sunday, April 28th between 1-4 p.m.!
Join us and GIVE BACK!
All are invited to attend this event to tour and learn more about Oasis Community Garden and get the garden ready for the 2024 season!
Starting at 1 PM: Help create & install garden signs with the Jr. Junior League of Ogden (JR. JLO)!
Jr. JLO prepares the next generation of female leaders in our community by offering volunteer opportunities & leadership training, and empowering 5th-9th girls to be proactive problem solvers.
Starting at 2 PM: Help get Oasis Garden ready for the season!
Volunteer to clean up the garden grounds & prepare garden beds for incoming community gardeners. Activities will include: raking, removing trash, weeds & debris, adding compost to garden beds... and more!
Gardener Orientation 2 PM - 4 PM: For all incoming 2024 Oasis Community Gardeners!
Meet the Oasis Garden Coordinator & Manager & learn how gardening at Oasis works! Take a tour, complete your paperwork & pay for your garden plot, so you can get gardening!

A PARTIR DE LA 1 PM: ¡Ayude a crear e instalar letreros de jardín con la Jr. Junior League de Ogden (JR. JLO)!
Jr. JLO prepara a la próxima generación de mujeres líderes en nuestra comunidad ofreciendo oportunidades de voluntariado y capacitación en liderazgo, y capacitando a las niñas del quinto al noveno grado para que resuelvan problemas de manera proactiva.
A PARTIR DE LAS 2 PM: ¡Ayuda a preparar Oasis Garden para la temporada!
Ofrézcase como voluntario para limpiar el terreno del jardín y preparar parterres para los jardineros comunitarios entrantes. Las actividades incluirán: rastrillar, quitar basura, malezas y escombros, agregar abono a los parterres del jardín... ¡y más!
ORIENTACIÓN DEL JARDINERO 2-4 PM: ¡Atención, jardineros comunitarios entrantes de Oasis 2024!
¡Conozca al coordinador y gerente de Oasis Garden y aprenda cómo funciona la jardinería en Oasis! ¡Haga un recorrido, complete su documentación y pague su parcela de jardín, para que pueda dedicarse a la jardinería!
